Welcome to Spring Hill! The site of The Battle of Spring Hill in the Civil War, this once small suburb has seen major growth since the start of the 21st century. This town is located about 30 miles south of Nashville in Williamson county. It’s a great location for those looking to be close to major attractions, but away from some of the crowded areas in Nashville proper.
Spring Hill will help get you away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville, but this town is by no means empty. The population has exploded since the start of the 2000s. There are a lot of young people and young families who have migrated here, which has brought a lot of business opportunities to the area. Spring Hill has benefitted from the economic boom Nashville has had. Unemployment rate is below national average, while household incomes continue to rise. Real estate in Spring Hill is affordable as well, with the median price being considerably below the median price for a home in Nashville.
There are an abundance of schools that Spring Hill residents have access to in Williamson and Maury Counties. This includes the Williamson County School District which is one of the highest rated in the entire state. There are also several options for private schools in the area if that is your preference.
Spring Hill has multiple parks that offer playgrounds, walking trails, sport fields, and more. Port Royal park has some of the most features including football fields, a splash pad to cool down, a ½ mile walking trail, and several pavilions for picnics and gatherings.
There’s no shortage of restaurants in Spring Hill. Delta Bound is a top rated restaurant in the area. They’ve got fantastic southern comfort scratch-made food. They change their menu several times a year, but it’s all great. Delta Bound should be on top of your list for places to try.. Frankie’s Pizza and Grill is also highly thought of by the locals.
